COACH’S CORNER – UPDATE























Last month, my parents celebrated 50 YEARS of marriage! What a milestone! I am so proud of them. Can you believe that only 5% of marriages last that long? I know there were many times when things weren’t the best but they were committed to their marriage. Divorce was not an option.

Makes me wonder how more successful many of us can be in our businesses if we remain committed? When things go bad or rough in our business instead of taking the easy way out (divorce) hang in there and remain committed to making it work. I am encouraged to be more committed to my business through the example of my parents!

"Making Aromatherapy Creams & Lotions " by Donna Maria

When I first started making soaps one of the first industry names I came across was Donna Maria Coles Johnson. She has been advocating for the handcrafted beauty industry for years. Did you know she started out making handcrafted beauty just like us with a passion for making awesome crafted skin care? I was so psyched when I saw she wrote a book and of course I have it in my handcrafted beauty book library.

To this day (10 years later) I still see her book on book shelves in various book stores. I even get to say to myself "I know her"!

I recommend this book if you would like to learn in-depth about how to formulate various lotions and creams. It is a must have in your handcrafted beauty book library.
