COACH’S CORNER – UPDATE

Wow I can’t believe how fast the year is going by already. We are well into April and it seems the days are flying by. I am adding more classes to the calendar including some new ones like Translucent Soapmaking and a couple of Advanced classes. There are some new classes up my sleeve so keep an eye out on the class calendar for the latest class offerings.

HSC DIY LIBRARY – BOOK OF THE MONTH

“The Soapmakers Companion” by Susan Cavitch

This book has been coined as the soapmakers bible. It is one of the most thorough books on soapmaking you can find. The information is written in english you can understand and not feel overwhelmed with the information. There are recipes and even information on how to troubleshoot when things don’t go as exactly planned. It is a soapmakers must have in their soapmakers library.
