This introductory, soy candle-making class will provide a great foundation for the start of a new hobby or new business! Through demonstration and hands-on participation, attendees will learn the following fundamentals of candle-making while making their very own candle: Safety Industry Standards Equipment and supplies Terminology and principles Types of Wax Container considerations Wicking Fragrances **Each attendee will need to bring an 8 oz. glass, Pyrex measuring cup with spout. To better serve your customers, educate yourself before making their facial products. Learn the 4 skin types and common skin conditions. You will Learn: the 4 skin types. the characteristics of each skin type. the most common skin conditions. what questions to ask your customers before making their facial products. what natural oils are good for each skin type. Each student will take home a natural face oil based on their own skin type. This is a foundational course designed to give you basic knowledge and understanding of skincare.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on commercial/store bought facial masque. You can make your own by using natural ingredients and natural clays right from the earth. Facial Masques are used to balance the skin, detoxify, increase circulation, draw out excess oils, decrease wrinkles and to tighten pores. There is a natural clay masque specifically for each skin type, including aging, sensitive and acne prone skin. Whatever skin type you have or that of your customer you can have a more radiant and smooth complexion with the use of these natural botanicals. In this class we will look, feel and work with several different natural clays. You will take a facial masque home for your skin type. You will learn: the different variety of natural clays the therapeutic effects each clay has on the skin the type of clay to use as a therapeutic facial masque for the (4) skin types as well as for problem skin how to choose the right masque for your customers home a facial masque for your skin type

Radiant skin deserves attention. Essential oils are powerful natural substances that when used in the correct way can enhance any complexion. You will learn: what essential oils to use for the 4 skin types and conditions such as aging skin, eczema, and acne. what essential oils should never be used on the skin. how essential oils work through the skin. create/blend a facial oil based on your particular skin type.
