In the soapmaking journey one needs resources to guide them along. I have chosen a few blogs that I feel soapmakers should subscribe to their blog posts. They all keep up with the latest trends and provide the soapmaker with knowledge they need to create awesome handcrafted custom soaps.

Soap Queen TV – produced by Anne Marie Faiola of Bramble Berry has begun an awesome step by step series of tutorials on Melt and Pour soapmaking. Each tutorial is under 10 minutes in length which doesn’t require a lot time. She provides excellent tips to help you to successfully make melt and pour soaps. Check out her latest episode “4th of July Special Edition”.

Soapy Love – Debbie Chialtas creates awesome melt and pour soaps. She has a magazine called “Let’s Get Soapy” that you can purchase full of help and tips for making some of the cools soaps she creates. Check out her blog at Soapy Love which also includes some cool tutorials.

Indie Business Network – need help with marketing your soap business? Stay connected to Donna Maria Coles Johnson blog and network. She provides a wealth of information that will help you with your business especially when it comes to promoting yourself through various media outlets. Be sure to add her blog to your list of must reads for the latest media information.

Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild – is an international trade association that caters to the handcrafted soapmaker. On their blog you will find the latest information that is going on in the handcrafted soapmaking community. You don’t want to miss what they have to say so make sure you add the HSMG Blog to your Google reader  They host an awesome annual conference and they are constantly looking for ways to help educate the soapmaker all year long.

These are just a few for now to get your started. I will be sharing other blogs in the future that I enjoy reading and hope you have gained some helpful tools for your soapmaking. I would love to know what is your favorite soapmaking blog that you enjoy reading. Please share with us all!
